Then we strapped on our helmets, hopped on our bikes, and went off to the store! Brenna's helmet is way cooler than Rachel's helmet.
We also found really odd "potatoes" that weighed a pound each!
Upon returning home from our bicycle trip to the store, we decided to make the brownies after lunch. Instead we got to work painting our nails with a magnetic nail polish. A video of our nails is posted on this blog.
A delicious lunch of pizza was had, which meant it was finally time to make brownies. Brenna donned her cooking outfit.
The brownies were successfully made, and the batter bowl was cleaned by
And when they were done, Rachel cut them up into bite-sized pieces and Brenna showed them off.
With the brownies completed, it was time for a celebratory trip to the park.
There was much fun to be had on the jungle gym.
And the swings were quite exciting as well!
Finally, it was time to return home. The day had been a success, which called for last minute dress up play time while waiting for Dad to get home. Brenna married a lovely imaginary bloke named John. It was a beautiful service.
In the end, it was a great first chapter for the adventure book story our summer will be. Stay tuned for next week when we go on an adventure to downtown Chicago and visit the American Girl Doll Store, the Disney Store, Dad at work, and the Water Tower Place.
What an exciting day! Were those brownies as delicious as they looked? :]

ReplyDeleteYou two are making ME want to go on more adventures! Brenna -- your cooking outfit was amazing. Did it make the brownies taste better because you were wearing that great wig??
